Hemp is one of the most durable and eco-friendly natural fibres. Hemp clothing is very lightweight and safe for the skin. It’s become famous as a summer alternative to cotton and linen.

It’s also a leader among organically sourced materials.

Hemp is 100% biodegradable. It grows thickly, so there’s no need to use chemical weedkillers. It’s also pest resistant, so they don’t require the use of chemicals. It delivers nutrients into the soil, making it more fertile. It doesn’t require additional irrigation during cultivation. Hemp has twice the yield of cotton. This means that it needs half of the growing area to achieve the same or better results.

Safe for your skin

Hemp is gentle on the skin, and free of pesticides and herbicides. It has antifungal and antimicrobial properties. It’s breathable, wicks moisture and doesn’t absorb odours, allowing the skin to breathe. It’s also resistant to UV rays.

The fibre of the future

Hemp fibres are one of the most durable natural fibres, making hemp clothing last for many years. It’s more durable than linen, which is considered to be one of the longest-lasting materials. It’s easy to dye, and doesn’t fade, pill or shrink. It softens with time without losing its properties.

Hemp clothing provides completely new quality, and hemp T-shirts can last up to three times as long as cotton ones. Hemp is often seen in natural material blends – after blending with linen, cotton, viscose or recycled polyester, it becomes ideal for the production of shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, knit pants or sweaters.
